A seven-man National Working Committee (NWC) panel headed by Clement Ebri, and constituted by the party to conduct the primaries earlier today announced the cancellation of the primaries, and said a fresh primaries will be conducted in a yet to be announced date.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a former commissioner for establishments and training in Lagos, was leading in the results so far announced in the direct primaries. Sanwo-Olu is contesting against incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
