Buhari, who had gone to participate in the programme of activities marking the 60th anniversary of the formal Proclamation of the Republic of Niger, was ‘ambushed’ with another birthday surprise.
However, reacting to photos shared via twitter, by the president, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, queried why the first family were ‘conspicuously’ absent from all the birthday photos of Mr President.
According to Omokri, while speaking via his Twitter handle, it was rare to find a 76-year-old man, that celebrates his birthday without his children, grandchildren and wife.
Dear President Muhammadu Buhari,
You shared birthday photos yesterday and today and your wife and children are conspicuously absent. Did they travel to Sudan? Which 76 year old man celebrates his birthday without his wife, children and grandchildren?
