Popular relationship therapist and media personality Blessing CEO is celebrating what she calls a miracle of justice after her partner, Ikechukwu Darry Ogobnna (IVD), was officially discharged and acquitted by the court on December 15, 2025.
Taking to Instagram, a visibly emotional Blessing announced the ruling, declaring that the four-year legal ordeal that followed the death of IVD’s late wife, Bimbo, had finally come to an end.
“Discharged and acquitted… it ended in praise. Four years of tears and false narratives. Nigeria’s justice system still works,” she wrote.
According to her, the prolonged case nearly destroyed lives through public pressure, misinformation, and emotional trauma. With the ruling now in his favour, Blessing told IVD he could finally reclaim his life and future.
The verdict also reignited conversations around toxic marriages, as Blessing issued a blunt warning to couples trapped in unhealthy relationships, urging them to walk away before situations spiral into tragedy.
Her celebration comes months after IVD’s dramatic airport arrest in August while attempting to travel abroad, an incident that reignited public outrage and speculation. At the time, Blessing fiercely defended him, accusing unnamed forces of harassment, intimidation, and deliberate attempts to frustrate his freedom.
With the court’s final decision now public, Blessing CEO insists that justice has prevailed, closing one of Nigeria’s most controversial relationship-linked legal battles in recent years.
