A viral video has sparked a fiery theological debate after a TikToker shared footage of a POS machine being used inside the house of God, questioning if the modern church is now a "business."

Is nothing sacred anymore? That’s the question being asked by TikTok user @amy.glamour after she witnessed a woman using a POS machine to give money during a recent church service.

Taking to the platform, she shared a video of the transaction with the caption: "POV: I knew we were doomed when I saw this happening right inside the church." The post has since exploded, racking up thousands of views and sparking a civil war in the comment section.

💳 "Are Transfers No Longer Enough?"

The creator lamented that the shift from cash to digital has reached a tipping point, expressing shock that a church would go so far as to provide swipe-and-pay hardware for congregants.

"Even inside the church? Like transfers are no longer enough? How did we get here pls???" she questioned, suggesting that the spiritual essence of giving has been replaced by a commercial vibe.

🗣️ The Internet Reacts: Convenience or Corruption?

The video divided the audience into two distinct camps:

  • The Practical Camp: Many argued that in a cashless economy, the church is simply adapting to reality. "The cash pandemic made everyone cashless... I’m sure people requested it because not everyone knows how to transfer," one user noted.

  • The Critical Camp: Skeptics viewed it as proof of the church’s financial hunger. "I told u church is business... just go to your God with pure intentions and give to the less privileged," another commenter argued.

👗 Double Standards? Forbidden for an "Exposed Arm"

In a frustrating twist, the same TikToker highlighted what she called the church’s "human obstacles." While they accepted POS payments, she shared a picture of a modest dress she wore that resulted in her being banned from entering.

Despite the gown not being sleeveless, short, or tight, she was told she could not enter because it exposed her arms. "No wonder the church is filled with only aged people these days," she mocked, slamming the focus on external appearance while facilitating easy cash flow.
