Primate Elijah Ayodele doubles down on his past predictions, insisting the IPOB leader will NOT die in prison and that his fate will be sealed by dialogue, not a harsh legal sentence.
In a defiant message aimed at calming fears surrounding the ongoing legal crisis of separatist leader Nnamdi Kanu, Primate Elijah Ayodele has emphatically declared that the worst-case scenario will not materialize.
The popular cleric, known for his political prophecies, took to his social media channels to revisit and reaffirm his previous statements, stressing that Kanu’s situation will ultimately be resolved through the power of negotiation and dialogue, not strict punishment.
💬 "It's a Matter of Negotiations"
Primate Ayodele dismissed the circulating fears that Kanu faces a potential life sentence, stating that the law's threats are merely words on paper that political realities will override.
"Ever before now I’ve said Nnamdi Kanu matter is going to be negotiation... The life imprisonment is just word of law, it’s not possible," he insisted.
He emphasized that while the legal process plays out, the eventual outcome will be driven by political considerations and an eventual compromise.
🕊️ No Death in Detention, Release is Coming
The Primate also addressed rumors and predictions concerning Kanu's safety in custody, firmly stating that the IPOB leader is not destined to die in prison.
"I still stand by it, he won’t die, as some people said he would die in prison. He won't die in prison, he is not born to die in prison," he affirmed.
Ayodele urged supporters to maintain pressure, noting that the path to freedom requires persistence. "So begin to strive hard, he will soon be out... his matter will be reopened this year but it will be negotiation," he said, reiterating that his prophecy remains unchanged.
❓ WHAT'S YOUR TAKE?
Do you agree with Primate Ayodele that Kanu's release will ultimately be a political negotiation and not a legal ruling? Or should the judicial process be allowed to conclude without interference?
