🚨 Miyetti Allah Claims Trump’s ‘Proclamation’ Sparked ‘Genocide’ Against Fulani in Kebbi!
Miyetti Allah has made a shocking claim, alleging that comments reportedly made by President Donald Trump about confronting terrorism in Nigeria have led to "devastation" and targeted hostility against Fulani pastoralists, claiming it’s the closest thing to genocide in Nigeria.
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has leveled a grave accusation, linking the alleged severe hardship and insecurity faced by Fulani pastoralists in Kebbi State to recent comments reportedly made by former U.S. President Donald Trump.
🗣️ The Trump Effect: Claiming Targeted Hostility
Speaking on Channels Television, a MACBAN representative claimed that Trump's alleged remarks about potentially invading Nigeria to tackle terrorism "shook" the system and triggered widespread fear and what he called targeted hostility against Fulani groups across parts of the country.
The spokesperson argued that instead of addressing the root causes of insecurity, many individuals used Trump’s statements as a justification to intensify criticism of pastoralist communities, leading to real and damaging consequences for Fulani families.
⚠️ The Shock Claim: "Genocide Against the Fulanis"
Making a bold and controversial assertion, the MACBAN representative stated that the conditions currently being faced by the Fulani people are the closest thing to ethnic cleansing in Nigeria.
In his alarming statement, he claimed:
“But I want to state again, that if there is anything close to a genocide in Nigeria, it’s genocide against the Fulanis. Since Donald Trump made that proclamation in the last three weeks, Fulanis have been devastated in Kebbi State.”
He warned against amplifying external statements without considering their severe and destabilizing impact on vulnerable local communities, stressing that the reported displacement and insecurity demand serious attention.
