Finally, Tiwa Savage Proves That She Is Not Wizkid’s Playmate As Video Surfaces

Nigerian star Tiwa Savage wins Best African Act at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards. The energized artist expressed gratitude toward her fans and Don Jazzy as she got the honor. Tiwa Savage is the first female to win the honor in Africa. This award has set her apart and has proved that she is worth her salt. While accepting the award, she didn’t acknowledge her ‘stew’, Wizkid though which makes us wonder if all is well in ‘stew’ paradise.


Well known Nigerian artist Tiwa Savage has been granted the Best African Act award at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards. The honor show was done on Sunday, November 4th, at the Bilbao Exhibition Center in Spain. The mother of one turned into the first female African artiste to win the honor for the Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. 38-year-old Tiwa Savage was up against capable African artistes like Davido, Shekinahm Fally Ipupa, Nyashinski and Distraction Boyz.


In her fervor, the vocalist took to her Instagram page to share her appreciation on getting the honor. She expressed gratitude toward God and every one of her fans for continually being with her everything through the route since she started her music vocation. She stated: “Almighty God, you ARE so faithful. My savage soldiers you did this for us. You’ve stuck with me through the roller coasters, THANK YOU To my amazing team, this is just the beginning. African Woman, this is for US, I’ve been through a lot but I’ve kept my head up and weathered the storm because I know some little girl somewhere is dreaming like I did.”

In the interim, her record mark manager Don Jazzy additionally took to Instagram to salute her on the enormous win. He expressed: “@Tiwasavage You did it by GOD’s grace. You work the hardest. Your fans are as beautiful as you are. You deserve every accolade you get and more. Congratulations on your MTVEMA WIN. #Mavin #SavageSoldiers.”
