Meanwhile The  leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari will no longer attend events outside northern Nigeria.

Kanu also said Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is now Nigeria’s unofficial president for representing President Buhari in Germany.

aolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity in the office of the vice president, had disclosed in a statement that Osinbajo will be addressing a group of notable German business leaders in Berlin, Germany, yesterday (Monday).

Reacting to the development in a post via his Twitter handle, Kanu said the meeting was previously scheduled for President Buhari but the Vice President represented him because President Buhari who he claims is an “impostor” can no longer attend events outside northern Nigeria.

The IPOB leader tweeted: “Jubril will no longer attend events outside Northern Nigeria. VP Osinbajo is now Nigeria’s unofficial president and now on his way to meet German business leaders, a meeting previously scheduled for ‘Buhari’. No public waving, meetings & escape for the impostor,” Kanu wrote.

This online news medium reports that since the pro-Biafra activist came out of hiding in October after the military invasion of his community in Abia State, southeast Nigeria, last year, he has been alleging that President Buhari is an imposter whose real name is Jibril Aminu Al-Sudanifrom Sudan.

But Buhari, while speaking in Poland, where he attended a climate change summit, said he would soon celebrate his 76th birthday, adding that “a lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. Somebody just thought I am cloned, … it is real me I can assure you”.

Reacting on Saturday during a live broadcast via radio Biafra, Kanu reechoed that President Buhari is an impostor and not cloned as the President said.

In response, the Presidency through the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, described Kanu’s “six facts” as ‘false’.

Mohammed, who spoke to journalists in Abuja on Monday, said the report was an influence from opposition parties ahead of 2019 general elections, stressing that the President gained access to his office in Aso Rock.
