This is Incredible!!! Buhari Cannot Speak Fulani – Atiku

The Spokesman for the Atiku Campaign Organization Segun Sowunmi has made a claim in a recent interview that President Muhammadu Buhari can not speak the language of the fulani.

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 1942) currently serves as the President of Nigeria, a position he has held since winning the 2015 general elections. He is a retired Major General in the Nigerian Army and has previously served as the nation’s head of state from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’etat.

He unsuccessfully ran for the office of president of Nigeria in the 2003, 2007, and 2011 general elections. In December 2014, he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress for the March 2015 General Elections. Buhari won the election, defeating the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. This marked the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president lost to an opposition candidate in a general election. He was sworn in on 29 May 2015.

Buhari has stated that he takes responsibility for anything over which he presided during his military rule, and that he cannot change the past. He has described himself as a “converted democrat.

He is contesting for the 2019 Presidency with his major opponent being Atiku Abubakar who is representing the main opposition, the People Democratic Party. They are both of the Fulani stock with President Buhari hailing from Katsina State in Northern Nigeria while Atiku Abubakar hails from Adamawa State in Northern Nigeria as well. Atiku Abubakar has himself run for the office of the President unsuccessfully in 2007, 2011, and 2015 loosing to President Muhammadu Buhari in the primaries of the All Progressive Congress in 2015. This will be his fourth attempt as yet.

During a recent interview, Sowunmi claims that PDP presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar is more Fulani than Buhari. Claiming that the president can’t speak ‘Fulfulde’ which is the name of the Fulani language.
