Political Parties, Candidates Of Top Nigeria Pastors, Sheikh

Many Nigerians on social media said that the winner of the 2019 presidential election would either be President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) or Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku’s emergence became a trending issue on social media after he was endorsed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo with Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Solo, Rev. Matthew Kukah, Pastor and presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo and a Kaduna- based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmed Gumi present.
Few hours after his endorsement, a munched image of Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeem Christian Church of God and Pastor William Kumuyi of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry visitations to President Muhammadu Buhari was shared on social media.

While those who joined Obasanjo in endorsing Atiku were alleged to be affiliated to the PDP, Pastors Adeboye and Kumuyi were accused of backing the All Progressives Congress.
Oloye Akin Alabi @akinalabi said: “Dear pastors and GOs. You better stay with Atiku. You won’t make any money from Buhari. And he won’t change.”

@OluwatomiNash replying to @akinalabi added: “So Adeboye and Kumuyi are making money with Buhari? Osinbajo too?”

Otunba Adeleye Akintola said: “Pastors and Sheik in politics. The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo,Sheik Gumen Bishop Kukah joined Atiku/PDP at the residence of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital to attend political meeting. Bishop Oyedepo is a politician affiliated with PDP. ‘Argue with your conscience’.”
